If you have the (CAP) California assistance program then they're going to rip you off even more. I know the guy at Napa and they told me that G&C called them for the parts; the price they gave me for the parts request was about $100 but G&C want it over $500 for the same parts at Napa.

However, if we recall correctly, the total costs for parts all together were under $500. A CAP agent had already approved repairs for your vehicle. Unfortunately, you decided not to move forward with repairs. The Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) is responsible for administering the Consumer Assistance Program (CAP). Now, all the paper work goes through a state CAP agent that verifies all prices and repairs are being made following the laws and regulations of the program. Therefore, you can call a CAP representative at (866) 272-9642 or (916) 403-8800, if you felt prices were unfairly marked-up.
